"Tequila, home of the blue agave plant and its lucrative nectar. One of my favourite spots in Mexico and I hope this photo does the landscape in the region justice. We of course drank tequila every day and went on a distillery tour to Orendian, where we met the don and tried some top shelf stuff. He loved it.
This photo however was a little out of town and we were cutting it fine for sunset but luckily, the Mexican generosity held out its palm. We got picked up by a family on the way to a birthday party so we sat in the back of their truck with our Tecates in hand. They dropped us off and we walked down a sandy track for 20 minutes until we came across this spot. We cracked another Tin Diesel and soaked it in, chatting to a crazy farmer for a short while, who actually took a photo of us on my camera (I'll share this another time). We then hitchhiked back into town and gorged on infinity tacos."
